Encompassing two blocks, this building reflects the geometry of the terrain and can be defined as a monolithic glass volume of white translucent material that allows light to enter, but preserves the privacy of patients. The aluminium brises protects the translucent glass facade from the sun reducing the need for air conditioning. An indoor atrium holds a 20 foot high sculpture design by Brazilian designers Ary Perez and Denise Milan.
